Help: Etiquette
How did you come up with your guidelines? (i.e., How do I know your way is the 'right' way?)
Well...first of all, you should know we believe there isn't just one 'right' way to practice good manners. Even the most well-known etiquette mavens Emily Post, Peggy Post, Amy Vanderbilt, and Letitia Baldrige have different opinions on the 'right' way of doing things.
You should also know our approach to etiquette is probably most in-line with the ever-gracious Ms. Emily Post who believed manners are "the continuous practice of kind impulses." We also champion the work of her extremely talented great-granddaughter-in-law Peggy Post who stated that at their very core, manners "rest on the bedrock principles [of] respect, consideration, and honesty."
Which means everything we suggest has been carefully checked and considered against advice from the greats, but at the core of our tips and oh-so-sweet tricks is the belief in perpetuating style, grace and kindness. On a timeline that lets you enjoy your very full & busy life.
